Hi-

I'm cutting together a music video using some footage from some of the copyright free films here on the Archive. The song is about an outlaw on the run, and mentions guns, trains and whiskey ALOT.

I've already downloaded Howard Hughes' 'The Outlaw' which had a lot of good gun-fighting scenes. I've also grabbed 'The Great Train Robbery' for the infamous shooting at the audience scene.

Could anyone recommend any good films here that may have some good shots of whiskey, or shot glasses, or drinking in general? Preferably close-ups. I imagine that westerns and film noir would be the most apt place to find such shots, but there's so many to choose from. Most of the westerns seem to be family friendly and the MPAA probably frowned on drinking in the pre-50's, so it may not be easy.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Also, any suggestions for good train shots or gunfights would also be appreciated! Thanks again in advance!

There's lots of wisky drinking in Noirs

Kirk Douglas drinks a lot in The Strange Love of Martha Ivers

Edmund O'brien gets poisoned while drinking wiskey in DOA

For westerns try these 2 John Wayne ones:

Angel and the Badman http://www.archive.org/details/angel_and_the_badman

There's probably many others.
